Galapagos Islands Information
The Galapagos Islands (also known under the Spanish name ” Archipiélago de Colón”) are located 1000 kilometers away from Ecuador. The Galapagos Islands are formed by 18 main islands and 107 of islets and rocks, but only four of them are inhabited: San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz, Isabela and Floreana.
The main islands are Isabela, San Cristobal,Floreana, Baltra, Española, Fernandina, Genovesa, , Marchena, Pinta, Pinzon, , Santa Cruz, Santa Fe, and Santiago.
Galapagos is a unique destination for wildlife lovers, both terrestrial and underwater, and it is not uncommon that after spending a few days immersed in such a beautiful nature and you will never want to leave again!
